The Sacramento Police Department investigates the shooting death of a male Hispanic in his early 30s.
On April 14, 2012, at 11:38 p.m., police responded to the 3900 block of 62nd Street regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim had suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Sacramento Police Department's Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded to investigate. Detectives are delving into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
