The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a 25-year-old male Hispanic.
On Sunday, April 22, 2012, at 1:03 a.m., police responded to the 4500 block of Arlington Avenue regarding a man who had been shot. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who had been shot in the upper body. Medical personal transported the victim to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Sacramento Police Department's Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded to investigate. At this time, detectives are actively investigating the circumstances that led to the homicide. The victim may have been talking to a couple of individuals prior to the shooting.
