The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the murder of a man in North Sacramento.

On May 7, 2012, at approximately 4:14 p.m., officers responded to the 2100 block of Peakview Avenue on a report of a subject shot.  Officers arrived on scene, contact and later arrest the victim's 24-year-old son, Jason Felder.  Felder surrendered to police without incident. 

Officers found the victim inside the residence.  The Sacramento Fire Department responded and declared the victim deceased at the scene.

Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded.
