Bella Bru Café & Catering is supporting Team SacPD's bicycle team in the Race Across America. 

Come support the team on May 14 and 15, 2012 by mentioning "Team SacPD" at any of the  four Bella Bru Cafés and 10% of your purchase will go toward this year's race.  The participating cafes are located in Natomas, Pavilions, Carmichael, and El Dorado Hills. 

Did you know that every 50 hours an officer loses his or her life in the line of duty? On June 16, 2012, eight officers from the Sacramento Police Department will participate in the Race Across America in honor of fallen officers.  This 3,000 mile, non-stop, bicycle race from California to Maryland will raise money for the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, DC as well as commemorate the lives lost protecting communities across the nation. 

Team SacPD's goal is to raise $100,000 for the National Law Enforcement Memorial and their efforts in erecting a new police museum, as well as to bring communities closer to the men and women who serve them every day.  Last year Team SacPD successfully completed the Race Across America in honor of our nation's law enforcement officers.  For more information on Team SacPD go to http://www.sacpd.org/teamsacpd/raam/index.html.
