The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the murder of a 38-year old male Black adult.
On Saturday, June 16, 2012, at 1:42 a.m., police responded to the 3200 block of Northgate Boulevard on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, police located the victim inside the establishment with a fatal gunshot wound.
Shortly after the shooting occurred, police were notified that two additional subjects had also been shot while at the bar and were receiving treatment at area hospitals. Both sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The Sacramento Police Department's Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene. At this time, detectives are actively investigating the circumstances that led to the homicide. The motive for the shootings is still under investigation.
