The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the community's help in identifying a suspect responsible for a string of armed robberies.
On July 31, 2012 at 12:33 a.m., a male white suspect robbed a cab driver at gunpoint near the 1200 block of O Street.
On August 7, 2012 at 9:03 a.m., a similar suspect robbed a neighborhood market in the 1700 block of T Street.
On August 13, 2012 at approximately 1:45 p.m., an armed gunman robbed a convenience store in the 2500 block of Land Park Drive. Within the hour, the same gunman returned to the T Street market, where he committed yet another armed robbery.
The description in all four robberies is similar. He is described as a male white adult, 30-40 years old, approximately 5'11", 250 pounds, with a light brown ponytail and goatee.
The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to these crimes to contact the dispatch center at (916) 264-5471 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357) or text in a tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
