On Monday, August 14, 2012, at 4:31 p.m., the Sacramento Police Department responded to the 2400 block of P Street on a report of a suspicious death.  Officers arrived and found a 57-year-old man deceased inside of his apartment.  The man's body had possible signs of trauma and was believed to be deceased for three or four days.

The Sacramento Police Department's Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded to investigate.  Detectives are actively delving into the case.
