September 13, 2012 at 7:10 p.m., the Sacramento Police Department responded to a vehicle accident involving a vehicle and a motorcyclist at 24th Street and 45th Avenue. The vehicle fled the scene leaving the injured motorcyclist in the roadway.
The fleeing motorist was located and arrested. The driver was identified as Victoria Brinkley-Hunter, 57. Brinkley-Hunter was later booked on felony hit and run and driving under the influence.
Traffic units responded investigated.
The 45-year-old male motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital and later succumbed to his injuries.
