September 13, 2012 at 7:10 p.m., the Sacramento Police Department responded to a vehicle accident involving a vehicle and a motorcyclist at 24^th Street and 45^th Avenue.  The vehicle fled the scene leaving the injured motorcyclist in the roadway. 

The fleeing motorist was located and arrested.  The driver was identified as Victoria Brinkley-Hunter, 57.   Brinkley-Hunter was later booked on felony hit and run and driving under the influence.

Traffic units responded investigated.

The 45-year-old male motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital and later succumbed to his injuries.
