The Sacramento Police Department has teamed up with the Target Corporation to bring holiday joy and cheer to10 children and their families.

On Sunday, December 16, 2012, at 8 a.m., officers will accompany 10 preselected children on a shopping spree at the Target Store located at 4^th Avenue and 65^th Street. Each child will be accompanied by an officer and a Target representative. Each child will receive $220 to purchase gifts for themselves and/or others. The children and their families were selected by local elementary school representatives and officers.

The Sacramento Police Department would like to thank the Target Corporation for its continued support. This is another great example of the partnership between Target, the Sacramento Police Department, and the children and their families within our community.
