The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community's help with information regarding a residential burglary.
On Monday, December 10, 2012, police responded to the area of 52nd Street and J Street regarding a report of a burglary. Taken from the victim's residence were 4 one-of-a-kind sculptures. Two of the pieces were life-sized ceramic sculptures, one was a life sized ceramic human face, and the other was a bronze sculpture.
On Tuesday, December 11, 2012, two subjects (male White adult and female White adult) are believed to have attempted to sell the sculptures to a local antique store. Although the subjects were not in possession of the stolen property at the time, they had photographs that witnesses believed were of the stolen items.
If anyone has information regarding the unique sculptures described above they are urged to call police.
