Sacramento, California – The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a suspected bank robber.
On Friday, April 5, 2013, at 1:00 p.m., police and the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Sacramento Field Office, responded to the 3200 block of Arena Boulevard regarding a robbery at the Tri Counties Bank located inside of Bel Air Market. The male adult suspect approached the teller and handed her a note demanding money. The suspect received the money and left the store. Sacramento Police Neighborhood Crimes detectives, in conjunction with the FBI, are currently conducting the investigation.
The same suspect was captured on video surveillance (pictured below) in the area at the Golden One Credit Union just prior to the robbery. The suspect left after waiting in line for a short time.
The suspect is described as a male black adult in his twenties, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, short black hair, with a thin black moustache and beard.

Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
