Two Robberies Too Many – Help Us Identify

The Sacramento Police Department is investigating two separate strong-arm robberies that may be interconnected.  In both instances, the victims targeted were of a mature age.

On Monday, February 18, 2013, at 1:55 p.m., an 84-year-old victim was walking on Lemon Hill Avenue and was approached by a subject.  The subject asked the victim for change.  Once he gave the suspect change, the suspect demanded all of the victim's money.  The suspect then physically went through the victim's pockets.  After a short struggle, the suspect took $200 from the victim and took off running.  The suspect got into an awaiting vehicle driven by a second suspect. The primary suspect was a black male in his 20s, 5'9" tall with a medium build.  He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a blue sweater underneath.  The second suspect was a black male with dread locks.

On Friday, April 12, 2013, at 9:40 a.m., an elderly man was walking west on Lemon Hill Avenue toward Stockton Boulevard.  A suspect came running from a parked vehicle and punched the victim in the face which knocked the victim to the ground.  The suspect then stole the victim's watch, ran back to his car and drove off.  The suspect was described as a black male with light skin, in his 20s, 5'11" tall, 220 pounds.  He had muscular build with shoulder length dread locks.
