The Sacramento Police Department has arrested Daniel Kirk, 42, for multiple counts of lewd acts and molesting a child.

The teenage victim reported that a family member, suspect Daniel Kirk, had sexually assaulted him multiple times over the past 4 years. At least one assault is believed to have occurred in the City of Sacramento and other instances may have occurred while the victim and suspect were together in an outside jurisdiction.

Kirk was taken into custody today after a warrant was issued by the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office.

The suspect is a manager of a youth baseball team in the North area of Sacramento. Detectives are looking for any additional possible victims that may have had inappropriate contact with Daniel Kirk.
