The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community's help in identifying an indecent exposure suspect.
On Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at 7:00 a.m., a male Hispanic in his late teens early twenties reportedly approached a 17-year-old victim as she was walking near the area of Florin Road and 17th Street. The suspect was riding a white in color BMX style bicycle with pink handlebars.
As he approached, the suspect attempted to engage in conversation with the victim who disregarded him and continued on her way. The unknown man then exposed himself to the victim who immediately walked away. As the victim was quickly walking away the suspect rode his bicycle up to her and touched her buttocks. The victim began running and ultimately left the area.
The suspect was described as approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 180 to 200 pounds. He was also reported as having short hair and a thin mustache.
After the incident a composite sketch was created (see below) and detectives are not ruling out the possibility he may be related to similar incidents that have recently occurred (press release 30130503-065).
