The Sacramento Police Department needs the community’s assistance in gathering information that may lead to identifying a group of suspects that attacked two men.
In the early morning hours of Saturday, August 17, 2013, two victims were walking through a parking lot at 19th and J Streets when they encountered a group of five men. The five men, unprovoked, assaulted the victims while shouting anti-gay slurs. One of the victims sustained significant facial injuries in the assault.
The suspects have been described as three Hispanic and two black males. They were seen leaving the area in a light colored, older model, four door vehicle.
Officers and detectives have been working the case since the incident was reported.
