The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a sexual assault suspect.
On Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at 3:10 p.m., an unknown male adult reportedly inappropriately touched a 14-year-old victim in the area of Florin Road and Greenhaven Drive. The suspect approached the victim, who was in front of her residence, and briefly spoke with her. While engaging the juvenile in conversation the suspect touched her on the outside of her clothing. The victim was not physically injured as a result of this incident.
The suspect was described as a middle aged, mixed race; Hispanic and Black, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, heavyset and further described as having a predominate “double chin”. The suspect arrived and departed in a 2000s model Silver Van (partial picture below).
Sacramento Police Sex Assault division is investigating this incident and a composite sketch of the suspect has been created (see below). At this time there is no indication of additional incidents or victims and detectives are asking for anyone who may have information regarding the identity of the below sketch.
