On Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at approximately 11:39 a.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of Pebblewood Drive regarding a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a victim suffering from multiple gunshot injuries. The Sacramento Fire Department rushed the 39-year-old victim to the hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
The motive for this deadly shooting continues to be under investigation. The suspect is believed to have fled moments after the shooting.
Crimes Scene Investigators were called to the scene to assist with the ongoing investigation.
