The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a bank robbery suspect.
On Friday, May 16, 2014, at approximately 9:45 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery to the Chase Bank in the 800 block of K Street.
A male suspect (pictured below) entered the bank, walked up to a teller, and held up a demand note. No money was given and the suspect abruptly left the bank on foot.
The suspect is described as male East Indian in his 30s, approximately 5 foot 7 inches tall with a medium build. The suspect had brown short hair and a beard at the time of the attempted robbery. The suspect was wearing a long sleeve stripped button down shirt and black pants.

Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
