The Sacramento Police Department is proud to introduce the Crossover Community Hoops Challenge! The event will be held at Valley High School, located at 6300 Ehrhardt Avenue, Sacramento on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at 4 p.m.
Neighborhood kids who participated in this year’s inaugural Sacramento Summer Night Lights (SSNL) program will take on law enforcement’s finest in a fun and friendly game of basketball. This fundraising event will benefit Campus Life Connection, Crossover Basketball organization and will feature local youth competing against law enforcement officials. Come out and support this great event and see who walks away with the win.
Lieutenant Roman Murrietta of the Sacramento Police Department explains, “Not only will the event be a good time, but it will celebrate what took place over the summer and highlight cooperation between law enforcement, the community and programs such as Crossover and Sacramento Summer Night Lights. It will also create awareness and much needed funding for Crossover.”
