The Sacramento Police Department is investigating a shooting that fatally injured a male in his early 30s.
On Friday, January 30, 2015, at approximately 11:32 p.m., officers responded to the 5900 block of Bamford Drive regarding sounds of gun shots. Officers quickly arrived and located the 32 year old male victim who appeared to have sustained multiple gun-shot wounds.
Sacramento Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and transported the male victim to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Crime scene investigators and homicide detectives responded to assist with the ongoing investigation.
At this time there is no known motive for this deadly shooting and detectives continue to investigate this incident. Detectives are asking anyone with information to please contact police.
