The Sacramento Police Department is asking the community for assistance in identifying a robbery suspect.
On Monday, January 5, 2015, at approximately 4:59 p.m., officers responded to the Rite Aid at 2211 F Street, after an armed man robbed the business of pharmaceuticals.
The suspect, a white male in his thirties to forties, brandished a firearm while demanding prescription medication from the employee. The suspect is believed to be just over six feet tall and was captured on surveillance wearing a red pea coat. On Tuesday, February 3, 2015, the same suspect wore a grey hooded sweatshirt while robbing the Rite Aid located at 4830 J Street (see below).
The suspect was further described as having a thin build, wearing black gloves and covered his face during each of the above incidents.
Detectives believe the same suspect may also be responsible for additional robberies in the Sacramento area that continue to be active and ongoing investigations.
