The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a bank robbery suspect believed to have entered two credit unions and robbed the tellers at gunpoint.
- On Friday, March 20, 2015, at approximately 4:41 p.m., the suspect entered the Schools Financial Credit Union located at 8725 Folsom Blvd. The man, who appears to be 40-60 years old, demanded money and displayed what was believed to be a handgun. The suspect (pictured below) was seen fleeing the area on foot after receiving cash.
- On Friday, May 8, 2015, at approximately 5:07 p.m., the same person entered the Schools Financial Credit Union located at 1631 Claudia Dr. The suspect again displayed a handgun and demanding money. The suspect wore a similar style hat as in the first robbery and in both incidents, had on black rimmed-eye glasses.
The suspect was further described to be a black male, approximately 5’9” to 5’11” tall with an average build.
The surveillance photos below are being released in hopes someone will recognize the suspect. Fortunately, no one was injured during either robbery.
