On Monday, August 31, 2015, at approximately 4:54 p.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting on Lemon Hill Avenue. Upon arrival, police discovered that an exchange of gunfire had occurred and all involved parties had fled the scene.
As initial responding officers were searching for evidence, they were advised of a shooting victim who was self transported to an area hospital. This man continues to be treated for serious injuries and is believed to be involved in the original exchange of gunfire.
Soon thereafter, officers learned that a second shooting victim, later identified as Wu, had been shot while inside his residence in a nearby apartment complex.
