On Friday, September 4, 2015, at approximately 10:59 p.m., officers were requested to the 2600 block of Franklin Boulevard by the Sacramento Fire Department regarding a deceased subject.
The unresponsive male adult was found by a person known to him inside the home. Medics arrived on scene and pronounced the man deceased and due to the suspicious nature, requested officers to respond. Officers determined the death to be suspicious.
Homicide detectives along with Crime Scene Investigators were summoned to the scene to begin an investigation. Numerous witnesses were contacted and interviewed.
The cause of death has not yet been determined, but it appears the deceased male suffered trauma to his upper body. CSI continues to process the scene and detectives are still actively investigating this incident.
