The Sacramento Police Department is proud to host the second annual March Mack Madness Hoops Challenge and skills clinic!
The Sacramento Kings, Kings NEXT, Food Source, the Mack Road Partnership, and People Reaching Out have partnered in this event which will be held at Valley High School, located at 6300 Ehrhardt Avenue, Sacramento on Saturday, March 12, 2016.
Neighborhood kids, elementary to high school age, from south Sacramento will learn to compete on the hardwood alongside the pros in a skills clinic with Sacramento Kings staff and Law Enforcement representatives. Participants will have an opportunity to apply the skills they learned in several friendly hoop challenges throughout the day.
This event will benefit Valley High School’s athletic program and help build relationships with our youth that will last a lifetime. Come out to support our youth by enjoying food, music, and games!
“This will be a fun event which will celebrate the cooperation between law enforcement and the community. This event highlights the importance of neighborhood programs such as Sacramento Summer Night Lights.” - Lieutenant Roman Murrietta of the Sacramento Police Department
