The Sacramento Police Department is seeking help from the community in locating suspect Jordan Ford, wanted for attempted murder.
On Monday, February 29, 2016, at approximately 4:48 p.m., two males were walking in the area of Meadowgate Drive when Jordan Ford and several subjects drove up next to them. An argument ensued between the two groups after several subjects in the vehicle brandished guns at them.
The disagreement escalated into a fight and the victim was ultimately shot multiple times. As the suspects fled the area, Ford attempted to run over the victim, nearly hitting him. The victim sustained life-threatening injuries during the assault and remains in stable condition as he recovers at a local area hospital.
The investigation has led to the identification of 17-year-old Jordan Ford as the person who shot the victim. Suspect Ford (pictured below) remains outstanding and detectives are hopeful that the community will provide information to assist in locating him.
The Sacramento Police Department considers Ford to be armed and extremely dangerous. Please notify law enforcement immediately if you have information regarding his whereabouts.
