The Sacramento Police Department has arrested 22-year-old Richard Gutierrez and 39-year-old Laurencio Quintero for Murder.
In June, 2015, Sacramento Police Homicide detectives responded to an apartment in the 2700 block of Rio Linda Boulevard to investigate the fatal shooting of 50-year-old Stacy Norman. During the incident, Norman was in her apartment when she was struck by gunfire.
Detectives later determined that Norman was not the intended target of the shooting. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, however it appears to of stemmed from an on-going dispute between two separate groups, unrelated to victim Norman.
