The Sacramento Police Department and the Elk Grove Police Department are asking for the community’s help in identifying a burglary series suspect that has been targeting Asian Restaurants in the Sacramento region.

The most recent incident occurred on May 3, 2016 at approximately 10:30 p.m.  The suspect burglarized the Hong Kong Islander Restaurant (5675 Freeport Boulevard) and was captured on video surveillance at a nearby convenience store (pictured below) after the burglary. The suspect is an Asian male adult, around 45-55 years old, 5’5’ to 5’8, thin build with thinning black hair.

The Sacramento Police Department encourages anyone with information about this crime series to contact the dispatch center at (916) 264-5471 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357) or submit an anonymous tip using the free “P3 Tips” smartphone app. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
