The Sacramento Police Department has located over fifty bicycles in North Sacramento.
On Friday, April 29, 2016, at approximately 9:00 a.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of Northgate Boulevard to serve a search warrant involving stolen property at a storage facility. When officers arrived on scene, they located over fifty bicycles inside a storage unit. The bicycles were booked for safekeeping.
One suspect has been arrested and this continues to be an active and on-going investigation.
Detectives are currently in the process of conducting an inventory of the recovered bicycles. They will be researching current owner records that may already be on file. More details will be released later this week to help reunite owners with their bicycles. We would like to thank the community for their patience during this process!
