On Saturday, June 4, 2016, the Sacramento Police Department will be hosting a public viewing of bicycles that were recovered from a local storage facility.
As some of you may recall, last month, officers responded to the 3300 block of Northgate Boulevard to serve a search warrant involving stolen property at a storage facility. When officers arrived on scene, they located over 50 bicycles inside a storage unit. All bicycles were seized and booked for safekeeping at the department’s property division. Since then, each bicycle has been carefully inventoried and several of the bicycles have been reunited with the rightful owners. However, we still have many more that have not been linked to an owner. We would like to thank the community for their patience during this investigation.
If you plan on attending the viewing, you MUST provide the following information:
· Copy of the police report and/or a police report number
· Description of the bicycle that was stolen
· Photograph and/or serial number of the stolen bicycle
When: Saturday, June 4, 2016
Where: 5770 Freeport Boulevard, Suite 100. Sacramento, CA 95822
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
