The Sacramento Police Department is raising awareness of breast cancer by supporting the Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation, a local non-profit organization.  For the month of October, officers will be wearing department approved pins on their uniform to support breast cancer awareness. 

Many people in our community have been affected one way or another by breast cancer as well as officers here at the Sacramento Police Department.  Although a small gesture, this is just one way to show our support and bring awareness to this horrible disease. 

These limited edition pins are also being offered to the public and are available at the Public Safety Center located at 5770 Freeport Boulevard, Sacramento.  If you are interested in purchasing a pin, we are asking for a minimum $10.00 donation.  All profits generated by these pins will be donated to the foundation on behalf of the Sacramento Police Department.  Thank you in advance for you commitment to eliminating this horrible disease.
