On Saturday, October 15, 2016, at 7:53 p.m., the Sacramento Fire Department received information from a witness that there were two deceased people in a residence across the street from Fire Station 5 on Broadway.
Medical personnel and Sacramento Police responded to the residence located on the 700 block of Broadway. When they arrived, they made entry into the residence and located two deceased males and one deceased female. All of the victims sustained apparent trauma to their bodies and were pronounced deceased by the Sacramento Fire Department.
Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators were summoned to the scene to begin canvassing the area for evidence and contacting potential witnesses. A specific motive has not been determined and the case remains very active. No arrests have been made at this time.
The identity of the deceased victims will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
