The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating a robbery suspect.
On Thursday, November 10, 2016, at 3:53 p.m., a male suspect entered 1st Citizen Bank (455 Capitol Mall). The suspect approached the teller and implied he was armed with a firearm. The suspect demanded and received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene on a bicycle.
The suspect was described as a white male and approximately 40 years old. He was five feet nine inches (5’9”) tall and estimated to be one hundred and eighty pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue, “Gap” hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes. His bicycle was described as a dark colored mountain bike.
The Sacramento Police Department encourages any witnesses with information regarding this robbery incident to contact the dispatch center at (916) 264-5471 or Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357) or submit an anonymous tip using the free “P3 Tips” smartphone app. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
