This press release is a summary of the facts known at the time.  This incident is still under investigation so the information is subject to change.  Additional details will be released as they become available.

On Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at approximately 3:58 p.m., officers from the Sacramento Police Department were called to the 5400 block of Bonnie Mae Way regarding two subjects deceased inside of a residence. 

Upon arrival, officers located two bodies inside of the residence.  Fire personnel were also on scene and pronounced the subjects deceased. 

Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene and took over the investigation.  Officers also canvassed the area for evidence and any potential witnesses.  The cause of death of the two subjects has not been determined at this time. 

The identity of the two subjects will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office once next of kin notifications have been completed.
