Police Seek Help in Identifying Home Invasion Suspects

In the late hours of Wednesday, August 16, 2017, and early morning of Thursday, August 18, 2017, the Sacramento Police Department responded to (4) robberies in the South Sacramento area. Our South Area Neighborhood Crimes Unit Detectives are diligently working these cases but have not determined at this early stage if they are related.  Below is a brief synopsis of each crime, suspect descriptions, and surveillance video from one of the robberies.  Investigators have not yet been able to identify the suspects involved in this incident.  Detectives hope someone from the community may have additional information about these incidents or recognize the suspects depicted in the following video:

Robbery / 7200 Block Jacinto Ave / 11:49 PM (5C)

The victim parked in his driveway and was exiting his vehicle when (4) male black adult suspects approached him, brandished firearms, and stole his personal property.

 

Robbery / 8400 Block Hermitage Way / 11:52 PM (5C)

The victim was exiting his vehicle when (2) male black adult suspects approached him and demanded his money. One of the suspects stated that he had a gun and punched him in the face.  The suspect stole his personal property.

 

Attempted Robbery / 7800 Block Cavalier Way / 1:41 AM (5A)

The victim pulled into her garage and was confronted by (2) male black adults who demanded money. The victim stated that she had no money and called for her daughter as the suspects fled on foot.

 

Home Invasion Robbery / 4000 Block De La Vina Way / 2:22 AM (5B)

The police department received a 911 call from a neighbor concerning a robbery.  Officers arrived and determined that a home invasion robbery had occurred. The victims, who are in their 70s, stated that (8) male black adults approached them as they pulled into their driveway. Armed with at least one handgun, the suspects entered the house and stole the victim’s personal property.

 

Police Seek Help in Identifying Home Invasion Suspects

 

·         Suspect 1: wearing a camouflage sweater with shorts

·         Suspect 2: wearing a hoodie with a large ‘Jordan’ symbol printed on the front, sweatpants with a small patch on the left side pant leg

·         Suspect 3: wearing a sweater, sweatpants with double lines going down both sides of the pant legs

·         Suspect 4: wearing a hoodie with ‘Jordan’ symbol located on the front and a design below the ‘Jordan’ symbol

·         Suspect 5: wearing a multi-color shirt with large numbers “00” printed on the back of the shirt and cross symbols on each shoulder, wearing pants

·         Suspect 6: wearing a sweater with printed letters on the left forearm sleeve, symbol on the left chest, and two small symbols on each side of the arms

·         Suspect 7: wearing a jacket and pants

·         Suspect 8: wearing a sweater and pants

Possible suspect vehicle is a white 2 or 4-door Nissan Altima.
