This press release is a summary of the facts known at the time, as this investigation is in the early stages. As information is gathered by investigators the facts and circumstances known now are subject to change. Additional information will be released as it become available.
On Monday, September 11, 2017 at approximately 7:11 a.m., officers from the Sacramento Police Department were called to the 7800 block of Albion Way regarding two subjects in need of medical aid.
Upon arrival, officers located two deceased individuals inside of the residence. Fire personnel were also on scene and pronounced the subjects deceased.
Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene and took over the investigation. Officers also canvassed the area for evidence and any potential witnesses. The cause of death of the two subjects has not been determined at this time.
This incident appears to be isolated to this residence. Investigators are not currently seeking any additional suspects.
The identity of the two subjects will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office once next of kin notifications have been completed.
