On Monday, August 28, 2017, at approximately 3:57 p.m., officers from the Sacramento Police Department responded to a residence in the 2500 block of Erickson Street regarding a subject who had been shot several times. Officers arrived and located the victim, who was later transported to a local area hospital where she is undergoing treatment and is expected to survive.
Through the course of the investigation, detectives identified 29-year-old, Randy Wallace the suspect in the shooting. It is believed that the shooting stemmed from a verbal argument that occurred between the adult female and Wallace who were in a prior relationship.
Wallace is known to law enforcement, has a violent history and is armed and dangerous. DO NOT attempt to contact him but rather notify local authorities of his location.
Wallace is described as follows:
Male, White, 5’11” tall, 220 pounds, short red hair, tattoos on both side of his neck. The left side has the names, “Yvonne” and “Alyssa” and the right side has the name, “Jaquelin.”
