On Friday, October 6, 2017, at approximately 6:58 p.m., officers from the Sacramento Police Department were called to the 400 Block of I Street regarding a theft. Investigators located surveillance video of the suspect stealing  personal property belonging to the victim. The property has not yet been recovered.

The Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying the suspect pictured below.

The suspect is described as:

·         African American male, light complexion approximately 18-25 years old, 240 pounds with short hair and glasses. Last seen wearing a gray button up short sleeve shirt and dark pants. 

The Sacramento Police Department encourages any witnesses with information regarding this theft to contact the dispatch center at (916)264-5471 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357) or submit an anonymous tip using the free “P3 Tips” smartphone app.  Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
