The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying two suspects involved in two recent robberies that occurred at local businesses in South Sacramento. On the evening of February 3, 2018, at 8:33 p.m., two suspects entered a business in the 7400 block of Rush River Drive. The suspects entered the business, armed with handguns, made demands, and fled the area. Approximately thirty minutes later, at 9:04 p.m., the same two suspects are believed to have committed an armed robbery at a business in the 3000 block of Freeport Boulevard. During this incident, the armed suspects robbed the business, shot a victim and fled the area. The victim sustained one gunshot wound and was transported to a local area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The attached photos were captured by surveillance cameras in the area of the robberies. The suspects are described as: Two male black adults. One approximately 6’0” to 6’3” tall, heavy set, wearing dark clothing and a black mask. The second suspect is described as a male black adult, approximately 5’6” to 5’8” tall, wearing dark clothing, with short hair. The Sacramento Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying the suspects in these robberies.
