On Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at approximately 2:35 p.m., officers from the Sacramento Police Department were called to the area of Eleanor Avenue and Altos Avenue regarding a shooting.
Officers arrived and located two male adults, each of whom sustained gunshot wounds. Officers immediately took lifesaving measures until relieved by Sacramento Fire Department personnel.
Both victims were transported by the Sacramento Fire Department to a local area hospital. One male adult remains in serious but stable condition. The other male adult remains in critical condition.
Officers conducted an initial canvas of the area for witnesses and evidence. Based on the severity of the victim’s injuries, Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators were summoned to the scene to take over the investigation. At this time, a motive for the shooting has not been determined.
