On Thursday, February 15, 2018 at approximately 8:10 p.m., officers from the Sacramento Police Department were called to the 3500 block of 63rd Street. Fire personnel requested police after locating a deceased subject inside of a residence that appeared unnatural.
Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive male adult inside of the residence. Fire personnel were present and had pronounced the subject deceased.
Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene and took over the investigation. Officers canvassed the area for evidence and potential witnesses.
The cause of death has not been determined at this time and the identity of the victim will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office once next of kin notifications have been completed.
