With the community’s help and over the last six months, Sacramento Police Department (SPD) detectives have been able to contribute at least two murders, one attempted murder, two home invasions, and multiple pharmacy robberies (across Northern California) to a gang-affiliated, robbery crew.  Currently, detectives have been able to link the following incidents:

On December 22, 2017, SPD responded to the area of Broadway and Santa Cruz Way for a report of a shooting with two victims shot.  One victim, a sixteen-year-old juvenile, succumbed to his injuries.  Below is a link to the related press release:

On December 26, 2017, SPD was dispatched to the 3100 block of Academy Way regarding a home invasion robbery.  During the incident, the homeowner was shot and died as a result of his injuries after a struggle with the suspects.  Below is a link to the related press release:

On December 28, 2017, SPD responded to the 3900 block of Limestone Way to investigate a home invasion robbery.  Officers learned that three suspects (armed with a handguns) forced their way into the residence, demanded valuables, assaulted the occupant, and fled in the victim’s vehicle. 

On December 29, 2017, SPD arrived near the 7800 block of Center Parkway to check reports of a shooting.  Detectives determined the victim was shot in the abdomen after he was robbed by two suspects.  The victim was transported to the hospital for medical treatment and survived his injuries. 

On January 1, 2018, Sacramento residents Terran Fayeweather (18) and Antoine Yancy (19), were arrested after a committing a pharmacy robbery in Yuba City, CA.  Working with information provided by the Yuba City Police Department, SPD detectives determined that Fayeweather and Yancy were responsible for the Limestone Way home invasion—arrest warrants issued on February 2, 2018.  SPD detectives are actively working this case and are seeking the community’s assistance to identify the third suspect.

Upon further investigation, an additional arrest warrant was obtained in Sacramento County for:

Suspect Terran Fayeweather - charged with the following crimes:

·         One count of murder and one count of attempted murder for the December 22, 2017 shooting at Broadway and Santa Cruz Way.

·         One count of murder and two counts of robbery for the December 26, 2017 Academy Way home invasion.

·         One count robbery and one count attempted murder for the December 29, 2017 shooting near the 7800 block of Center Parkway. 

Suspect Antoine Yancy - charged with the following crimes:

·         One count of murder and one count of attempted murder for the December 22, 2017 shooting at Broadway and Santa Cruz Way. 

Both suspects have been identified in several pharmacy robberies that occurred across Northern California in December 2017.  SPD detectives are currently working with numerous outside agencies to identify additional suspects.

All of the above cases are active and ongoing as there are additional suspects in each case that have yet to be identified.
