Today, the Sacramento Police Department will release the Sacramento County Coroner’s Autopsy report from the death in custody that occurred on June 6, 2018. Please refer to the two previous press releases related to this incident:

This incident is still being actively investigated by our department. We are committed to a thorough fact-based investigation that shows our commitment to truth and transparency. The autopsy findings provide facts of this investigation, including:
· The cause of death: Sudden death with methamphetamine intoxication, while in custody of law enforcement.
· Apparent plastic “baggie” identified in stomach.
· No internal torso or intracranial trauma.
· No evidence of neck compression or asphyxia.
