Today, the Sacramento Police Department (SPD) is releasing additional video related to the officer-involved shooting that occurred on September 6, 2018, in the 2000 block of 1st Avenue.

The material in today’s release consists of 20 in-car camera videos and 46 body-worn camera videos. All videos being released have been redacted to ensure the confidentiality and privacy of those involved. The faces have been blurred and audio redactions are signified by muted audio with no accompanying sound.
The material being released today has been identified as significant to this incident. This release is in compliance with the City Council policy on Police Use of Force. This continues to be an active investigation.
