On Tuesday, May 22, 2018, officers from the Sacramento Police Department were called to the 3800 block of Dry Creek Road, regarding a shooting that led to a homicide. Please refer to the initial press release related to this incident:

Tomorrow will be six months since this tragic shooting. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office identified the homicide victim as 25-year-old RC Carrier. This was a tragic event in our community as a young life was lost due to violence.
We are asking for the community’s assistance to help us solve this violent crime. Detectives have determined that there are two suspect vehicles involved. Both of these vehicles traveled in tandem before, during and after the homicide. One vehicle is a light-colored sedan and the second is a dark colored sedan.
