On December 7, 2018, at approximately 8:37 p.m. officers from the Sacramento Police Department responded to a business in the 3600 block of Northgate Boulevard regarding an armed robbery.
Based on the initial information received on the call, officers discovered that this robbery was possibly related to a robbery series in the North area of Sacramento. Please refer to the press release regarding these robberies:

Responding officers discovered that the business was robbed at gunpoint and the suspect fled the area. Patrol officers immediately conducted a thorough search to locate the suspect. During extensive follow-up, officers located and arrested 24-year-old Keyzshawn Braxton in the 4000 block of Taylor Street. Additionally, officers located the firearm that was used during the robbery.
Detectives responded to assist with the investigation. After additional follow-up, Keyzshawn Braxton was arrested for five counts of robbery, including the robbery from this incident and four other recent robberies in the North area of Sacramento. This investigation remains on-going.
