On Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at approximately 6:10 p.m., officers from the Sacramento Police Department responded to the 2400 block of Del Paso Road regarding a shooting with one victim located.

Officers arrived on-scene and located an unresponsive victim with gunshot wound injuries in the parking lot of the business. Sacramento Fire Department personnel arrived on scene and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene to take over the investigation. At this time, a motive for the shooting has not been determined. Initial information is that the suspect fled the area.

The identity of the victim will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office once next of kin has been notified.
