Sacramento Police Department Makes Arrest Related to Homicide from 2400 block of Del Paso Road

On Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at approximately 6:10 p.m., officers from the Sacramento Police Department responded to the 2400 block of Del Paso Road regarding a shooting. Responding officers located a victim who died as a result of the shooting. Homicide Investigators responded to the scene to take over the investigation. On December 12, 2018, the Sacramento Police Department arrested 56-year-old Ronald Seay for shooting into an occupied vehicle related to this incident. On December 13, 2018, detectives added an additional charge of homicide related to this investigation. At this time, based on the information we have, we believe this was not a random act and the victim was targeted. This investigation continues to be on-going.
