The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for an attempted kidnapping incident that recently occurred in the 2700 block of River Plaza Drive.
On February 21, 2019, at approximately 7:10 a.m., the male juvenile victim was walking in the 2700 block of River Plaza Drive. The victim reported that the suspect drove a van and parked nearby. The suspect exited the van on foot and approached the victim. Then, the suspect grabbed the victim by the arm and attempted to pull him in the van. The victim was able to run away from the suspect and was not injured.
The suspect was described as a male white adult, approximately 40-years-old, 6’, 190 pounds, dark short hair, dark goatee, tattoo on neck area and wearing a black short sleeved shirt with blue jeans and brown work boots. The suspect vehicle was described as an older red minivan with tinted rear windows.
At this time, the investigation remains active. The Sacramento Police Department is committed to working with our community to identify and locate the suspect responsible for this crime.
