The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for multiple indecent exposure incidents. At this time, the investigation remains active and officers are investigating three separate incidents.
On Monday, April 29, 2019, at approximately 8:19 a.m., officers from the Sacramento Police Department responded to the 6200 block of Lemon Hill Avenue regarding a report of multiple indecent exposure incidents near a school. Based on preliminary investigation, officers determined that there were three separate incidents that involved three separate 12-year-old females who were walking to school. When the females arrived at school, these incidents were reported. At this time, officers believe that the same suspect is responsible for all three crimes.
In each incident, the suspect attempted to contact each victim and engage in conversation. During the first incident, the suspect stayed in his vehicle and attempted to show the victim a cell phone with pornography content. During the second incident, the victim observed the suspect fondling himself while he was inside his vehicle. During the last incident, the suspect exited his vehicle, but did not approach the victim. After each incident, the victims were able to flee from the suspect and walk to school.
There have been no reported injuries during any of these incidents. The Sacramento Police Department is committed to working with our community to identify and locate the suspect responsible for these crimes.
The suspect is described as a male white, in his twenties, with dark spiky hair, thin, wearing a black shirt and black/red shorts. The suspect vehicle is described as a black Honda Civic.
Investigators from the Sacramento Police Department encourage any witnesses with information pertaining to these incidents to contact the dispatch center at (916) 808-5471 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357) or submit an anonymous tip using the free “P3 Tips” smartphone app. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
